Are we leaving the dying arts in this country?
I love classical music. In college my friends always ask me why I lidten to that, I was a music major, but also listened to Mozart and other composers casual. I think it's a drop of their face, not only in music and the appreciation of art, but in the interest! What can we do to save the music? Art expands the imagination of children growing up in a world that is limitless. Why training the next generation to think only in binary code? Should we not force them to accept an art, the imagination is crucial in creating new ideas ... without the influence of art, how they will expad their minds?
It is a tragedy in my mind. No one ever discuss the impact of television on our society. While minimalism, expressionism and impressionism used to sweep through the arts - dance, theater, music, fine arts and the cinema there is no movement art, hip hip than in the past 56 years. Art is a reflection of our culture and hopefully a commentary on our culture as well. Where once you've hung our hats and opera and ballet theater, classical music and today too we see fashion, pop music and advertisements on television. And no I care about this! What really counts is that we sit on our back and not join groups that have a large group of live performance, in addition to a rock show or club experience. We do not have the variety we need in large venues. Peace.
